Comment (by ryandesign@…):
I am not familiar with how the "info" system works.
".info" files are being installed:
{{{
$ port installed gmake
The following ports are currently installed:
gmake @3.82_1+universal (active)
$ port contents gmake
Port gmake contains:
/opt/local/bin/gmake
/opt/local/share/info/make.info
/opt/local/share/info/make.info-1
/opt/local/share/info/make.info-2
/opt/local/share/locale/be/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/da/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/fi/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/ga/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/gl/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/he/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/hr/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/id/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/it/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/ja/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/ko/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/lt/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/pl/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/pt_BR/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/tr/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/uk/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/vi/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/locale/zh_CN/LC_MESSAGES/make.mo
/opt/local/share/man/man1/gmake.1.gz
}}}
However they're not prefixed with "g" like the rest of the files. Should
they be?
Do we need to run something in a post-activate block to register these
files with the info system? If so, ''lots'' of other ports would need this
as well.
