 That looks a lot like the error you'd get when building GHC with clang,
 because its C preprocessor is much more strict in what it accepts. I'm not
 sure why this happens, since GHC should use MacPorts GCC to build itself.
 Do you have a file called "settings" somewhere below `$prefix/share/ghc-
 bootstrap`?
