 Hi,

 I am using mpd 0.18.6 via "ao" (osx output is no more recognized)
 and the problems seem to be gone. I also had to compile the ffmpeg
 variant,
 so I can play m4a files.

 Although I only played a few songs, I could stop/resume without any
 glitch.
