 Irrelevant. That's MacPorts trying to download pre-compiled binaries.
 Since apparently none exist for this port, it then tries to compile the
 source. ''That'' then fails, and ''that's'' the problem we need to
 investigate.

 The log you attached says:

 So why can't you run C compiled programs? Have you installed the Xcode
 command line tools? See wiki:FAQ#missingxcode. What does the config.log
 say?
