 Unfortunately the Phoenix API doesn't support embedding a shell yet. I've
 raised this point [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/wxpython-
 dev/2UmbQUr_6QM/discussion on the wxPython-devel mailing list] but haven't
 received any reply.
