 Thanks again for all the help.  That seemed to really help.  It completed
 the install without any errors.

 I went to Applications\MacPorts\KDE4\kmymoney and found the link for
 kmymoney.  It starts to launch and then errors out without any
 information.  Just comes up with an error saying that it quit
 unexpectedly.  I attached the osx error but i don't think it will be
 helpful
