 As this bug sat around for a week (and I unfortunately lacked the time to
 follow it up), it has been made obsolete by the newest jmol release. Could
 somebody please:
 * update the bug title to ''jmol-14.0.13 update to 14.2.2_2014.06.29''.
 * have a look at the way I'm now treating the new version number format.
 * validate and apply the patch submitted.

 As for the new patch: It upgrades jmol to the current stable version
 14.2.2_2014.06.29, which, compared to 14.0.13, contains new features and
 some bug fixes acording to
 [http://sourceforge.net/projects/jmol/files/Jmol/Version%2014.2/Version%2014.2.2/README-14.2.2_2014.06.29.properties/download].
 It works on an iMac running 10.9.3 on a dual core i5.
