New description:

 I am trying to install wine-devel, and it has the dependency libtasn1. I
 am able to install the arch specific port of libtasn1 (port install
 libtasn1), however wine-devel is requesting the universal variant which
 does not exist.

 I tried searching for the file
 "libtasn1-3.4_0+universal.darwin_13.i386-x86_64.tbz2" and am unable to
 locate it online.

Comment:

 In the future, please use WikiFormatting, fill in the Port field and Cc
 the port maintainers ({{{port info --maintainers libtasn1}}}).

 The output you posted shows exactly otherwise.
