 I would try to fix it by switching to python 2.7 and also py-Pillow - so
 use py27-Pillow instead of py26-pil. You might have to give it a configure
 argument/env variable to point to the Macports version. You should check
 for an update in the source code. Although the homepage looks fishy to me
 when I went to it.
