 gdal's configure script requires libkml 1.3.0, but unfortunately libkml
 1.3.0 has not actually been released yet. Thus, instead of updating the
 main libkml port to an unstable version, I would like to see a libkml-
 devel port that checks out from subversion until there is a release. I
 know we generally prefer to avoid tracking unstable development versions,
 but that is what ports suffixed with "`-devel`" are for in MacPorts.

 I see Ryan has already addressed this issue upstream:

 However, I could not find any ticket addressing this issue on our own
 trac, so this issue is to track it downstream here.
