 Just to make sure that I understand properly.

 Is `configure.cxx_stdlib` defined only on 2.3, so it can safely be assumed
 that it's defined now (and `[info exists configure.cxx_stdlib]` may be
 dropped)?

 Is the value of  equal to `libc++` on 10.9 (and later) and `libstdc++`
 everywhere else?

 When `configure.cxx_stdlib` is already set to `libc++`, we don't need/want
 `port:libcxx` or anything else.
