Old description:

New description:

 Cause of failure is due to unrecognised flags {{{-fcaller-saves}}} and
 {{{-fthread-jumps}}}.

 Attached [attachment:patch-Makefile.diff], which extends the existing
 patch removes these two compile flags.

 This modification results in a working binary on OS X 10.9.3 with XQuartz
 2.7.6 (xorg-server 1.14.6).
