 I looked into that a while back and read
 [http://trac.macports.org/ticket/39868 this topic] about it. I think the
 problem is that my ISP automatically redirects me to a search page if I
 request a nonexistent address. I don't think that's under my control, but
 if it's important I could call them to see if they can turn it off...
