 This issue could now be relabeled "sumo-devel @svn Use repo head of tree"
 The patch for Portfile uses the repo head of the tree rather than a
 specific version number and repo revision number which are rapidly out of
 date and not maintainable.
 Using the repo head of tree is the recommendation of the SUMO developers.
 Note that using the daily snapshot seems to be precluded by the
 requirement for providing valid checksums in the Portfile. If the daily
 snapshot would be preferable and if there is a workaround for the checksum
 issue I can adjust the Portfile accordingly.
