 Keep in mind that we need a build that uses `libc++` on systems >=
 Mavericks to avoid compatibility problems with all other software using Qt
 5. With that background it seems https://bugreports.qt-
 project.org/browse/QTBUG-37803 is a blocker.

 With respect to C++11: If Qt 5 needs C++11, don't get your hopes up that
 it will ever work on systems earlier than Mavericks and with anything but
 libc++. I wouldn't consider it a huge problem if a potential port doesn't
 build on anything but Mavericks because of that.
