 There are some other weird things too.

 The geometry button in the demo palette crashes.  This happens in the CERN
 version too BTW.

 The tornado demo doesn't work unless all the buttons are clicked in order
 (not sure if this is normal, I did run hsimple first per the
 instructions).  It says:
