 This ticket was apparently implemented and livecheck reports up to date.
 In that sense the ticket could be closed. However, a 2.x branch, currently
 at 2.1, seems to exist supporting Python 3 as well.

 The 1.x branch would be at 1.0.3 and supports Python 2.7 as well.
