New description:

 I have intially tried to install octave and I have found a problem with

 The Priority field is for use by Macports team members' use only.

 In the future, please use WikiFormatting, fill in the Port field and Cc
 the port maintainers ({{{port info --maintainers atlas}}}). As reporter,
 you do not need to Cc yourself.
