 this ''problem'' was corrected by
 https://sourceforge.net/p/libwps/code/ci/b377dff5da8bc944f98c123d1dfac2658bf3a458/
 in the libwps's git repository ( and will unfortunately persist in
 libwps-0.2.8 and libwps-0.2.9, i.e. it will be corrected either in
 libwps-0.2.10 or in libwps-0.3.0 ).

 I do not know enough about macports to be able to propose a solution, but
 I see two possible trails:
 - add --disable-werror when launching configure,
 - or apply a similar patch before compiling libwps
