 The fix also worked for me.
 Please note: The change needs to be done in the right Portfile (two are
 existing in my installation):[[BR]]

 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/ports/cross/avarice/Portfile[[BR]]

 and [[BR]]

 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/cross/avarice/Portfile[[BR]]

 Get the correct file by asking the system:


 {{{
 sudo port file avarice
 }}}

 gives for me[[BR]]

 /opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/cross/avarice/Portfile[[BR]]

 which is good.
