 The answer I recevied (below) was definitely not the solution for the
 problem :

 The relevant error appears to be:

  :info:configure GNU make (>= 3.80) or makepp (>= 1.19) is required to
  build FreeType2.
  }}}

  I see you're running OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Have you installed the command
  line tools by running "`xcode-select --install`"? This is required to use
  MacPorts on Mavericks.

 I installed the command line tools, but this is not the relevant error
 because the errorlog is the same !

 I think the relevant error is :

 > :debug:configure couldn't open
 >
 "/System/Library/Frameworks/Tcl.framework/Versions/8.5/Resources/tclIndex":
 > no such file or directory

 because the tclIndex is in the subdirectory : Scripts

 What is now the solution for this problem ?
