Comment (by cal@…):

 Yeah, the sandbox only does `(allow file-write* (regex
 #"^(/private)?(/var)?/tmp/" #"^(/private)?/var/folders/")`. Why is you
 temp dir a symlink? What kind of setup causes this? What is
 `/Volumes/UserData`?
