 postfix without any variants will build but if I add any variants it fails
 with the error below.

 clang error - MacPro3,1, Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 2.8 GHz, 4GB RAM, OS X
 10.8.5, Xcode 4.6.3 & Xcode 5.1
 clang error - iMac, i5, OS X 10.9.2, Xcode 5.1
 no clang error - postfix with variants builds fine on an iMac core2 duo
 running 10.8.5, Xcode 5.0
