 I can also confirm the build works after the patch.^1^

 ^1^ I should note that applying the patch failed on the hunk removing the
 OS_SPECIFIC_CFLAGS line. It seems to be harmless error though. (At least
 on my installation) that line has already been omitted in the configure
 file.
