 I've installed inkscape today and when I tried to create a blurred fill of
 a rectangle, I can see the rectangle's size increase but the fill is not
 blurred at all. This seems to be MacPorts related as the same Inkscape
 version (0.48.4) works ok on other platforms.

 Running OS X 10.9.2 with Xcode 5.1 (5B130a) and latest MacPorts (did port
 selfupdate today)
