 Hi,

 Building xindy fails on Mavericks (10.9.2), even after a full MacPorts
 reinstall,  just executing "sudo port selfupdate && sudo port install
 xindy"

 info:build sed -e 's:@libdir\@:/opt/local/lib:' ./xindy.in >xindy
 :info:build sed: RE error: illegal byte sequence

 (please see attached log for full details)

 (BTW: I recently upgraded from 10.8, and everything worked fine there.)
