Comment:

 We don't need the tarball attached here; MacPorts will download it from
 wherever it's hosted.

 You appear also to be removing patchfiles that the port used always. What
 is the effect of doing that?

 Remember to Cc the maintainer of a port when you file a ticket about it,
 and to use the haspatch keyword when you are supplying a patch.
