Comment:

 The MacPorts installer package only adds the MacPorts path to the PATH
 environment variable for the user you were logged in as when running the
 installer. Manually edit your shell startup files in your other user
 accounts to add the MacPorts path to the PATH variable. See
 https://guide.macports.org/#installing.shell.
