 Looks like the original, non-duplicated definitions got removed as well in
 r112789... This now causes `pkg-config` to complain about `libdir` not
 being defined instead:

 $ /opt/local/bin/pkg-config --print-errors fortrancl
 Variable 'libdir' not defined in '/opt/local/lib/pkgconfig/fortrancl.pc'
 }}}
