 You shouldn't need to change your PATH. Does /usr/bin/cc exist and work?
 If not, you'll need to fix that. It should have been provided by the Xcode
 command line tools.

 Additionally, it is a bug that netcat attempts to use cc at all. I have
 filed #43808 about that.
