Comment:

 It's not supported to have things in
 /usr/local/{bin,etc,include,lib,libexec,man,sbin,share,var} while using
 MacPorts, because it can cause interference like this. See
 wiki:FAQ#usrlocal. Please remove /usr/local, clean the affected port, and
 then try again.
