 This seems like a dubious change to me, i.e. trying to deal with a
 specific problem in upstream pylucene by modifying how all python
 extension modules are built.  Bundles and dylibs are different animals and
 Python intentionally builds extension modules as bundles.  I am unaware of
 any open upstream Python issues about this.  If there is believed to be an
 issue in Python, it should be properly documented and opened at
 https://bugs.python.org.
