New description:
Hi,
I tried installing asterisk using the commands:

sudo port install asterisk
}}}
However came up with an error, reading on the macport forum (Ticket
#36963) i tried to clean first.

sudo port clean asterisk
sudo port install asterisk
}}}
However, I still came up with errors (below). And i have attached the
main.log.

Thanks for the report. In future tickets, please use WikiFormatting and
preview your ticket before submitting, Cc any port maintainers (`port info
--maintainers asterisk`) and don’t set the ticket’s priority (a MacPorts
committer will change that if necessary).
