 Yep.  configure.ac has:

 {{{
 configure.ac:           PYTHON_LIBS=`$PYTHON$PYTHON_VERSION-config --libs`
 configure.ac:           AC_SUBST(PYTHON_LIBS)
 }}}

 anjuta isn't trying to link with the correct ldflags.
