#45245: Inconsistency between python-scientific and most recent version of Numpy

Reporter: jolivetinsar@… | Owner: macports-tickets@…
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 2.3.1
Resolution: | Keywords:
Port: py-scientific, py-numpy |

Comment (by petr@…):
`port echo depends:py27-scientific` gives the following result:
{{{
py-scientific
py27-fiat
py27-ipython
py27-MMTK
py27-tables
}}}
I do not know much about `py-fiat` and `py-MMTK`, but `ipython` and `py-
tables` might be quite relevant. In installed against Py3, they do not
depend on scientific. So probably this should become the default for Py2
as well.
For ipython this is trivial as it is a variant. I do not know where the
difference comes from for `tables`.
