 Can you attach a clean/complete build log that shows the problem (clean
 first, so we get the full output)? If you can replicate this easily, after
 you generate a complete build log, can you try to force a non-parallel
 build (port -v install apr-util build.jobs=1) and see if that fixes it?

 I've not seen any problems with parallel build - but that doesn't mean
 there's not a problem.
