 Apple has seemingly removed Xcode 6.1 beta from the developer site and we
 are stuck on 6.0.1 until at least Monday when iOS 8.1 comes out as far as
 I can tell.

 With 6.0.1 and official Yosemite I get the same error as in the original
 post.
