 Chris hasn't weighed in on this issue yet, but I'm really reluctant to
 make any change here, since we've tried making changes to the deployment
 target and SDK stuff in the cmake portgroup before which have resulted in
 unintended breakage and the need to put things back the way they were.
 What we have now works fine, provided the OS SDK is present, which it will
 be as soon as a compatible version of Xcode is installed. I still think
 that is the correct solution.
