 I'm using MacOS X 10.9

Comment:

 Although the terminal transcript you showed was from a clean build
 attempt, the logs you attached were not. Please "sudo port clean ilmbase",
 then try only once more to build ilmbase, and when it fails, please attach
 that main.log to this ticket.
