 I'm following the thread and thank everyone for trying to track down the
 failure scenario. I'm not sure what I can do as a port maintainer to help
 atm since it is not reproducible on my machine and can not be traced back
 to an interaction with another port.
 Any suggestions on how to narrow down the library search path to eliminate
 these spurious libraries?
