 Two quick comments:
  * Python 3 support: To my understanding Py3 is still not fully supported
 by `cartopy`, it is work in progress. But if you have other information
 please provide details
  * `geos`: It was listed explicitly as dependency when I created the port.
 If it comes in **only** though py-shapely, removing is justified. If it is
 used directly we need to keep it. Will recheck this.
