 The FAQ has an entry for build failures that would have prevented this
 issue as of MacPorts 2.3.2: wiki:FAQ#buildfails mentions that you should
 attempt the build with the `-t` flag, i.e. `sudo port -t install/upgrade
 openjade`, which would have hidden any files in `/usr/local` from
 openjade's build system.

 Especially if you're also using other package managers and/or have a bunch
 of stuff in `/usr/local` you should make using `-t` a habit whenever a
 build fails. It does have a noticeable performance overhead, but avoids
 problems like these.
