 Please attach also `config.log`. There are a bunch of things that I don't
 really understand, including the failure to find AquaTerm, the following
 warning:

 and a few other things. I don't think this is a generic issue since many
 other people managed to install gnuplot without problems, but I'm curious
 to know how you ended up in that branch of the code.

 There's this code in `src/stdfn.h`:

 but on my machine the first `if` is false.
