 Since the update to version 4.0 digiKam lacks the ability to drag and drop
 files from the album view to the Dock, which worked in 3.5. So it is
 impossible to send files from digiKam to another Mac application like PSE
 or Gimp Mac.

 In the open-with-dialogue in the context menu I can sure navigate to
 something like

 /Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 8/Adobe Photoshop
 Elements.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Photoshop Elements

 or

 /Applications/Grafik/Gimp.app/Contents/MacOS/Gimp

 but unlike version 3.5, which opened files in that way, if even every
 picture in a new instance (!), nothing happens in digiKam 4.0.
