 The attached patches apply [http://bugs.python.org/issue21811 Ned’s
 upstream fixes] to `python34` and adapts them for `python26` and the other
 Python 3 ports. (Python 3.4 will incorporate the fixes eventually; Python
 2.7 seems to have done so already.)
