Thank you for your answers and for your hints. In variants.conf I removed
the entry "+universal". After this a selfupdate has been done and outdated
ports have been upgraded. Then the installation of digikam has been
continued and it has been finished successfully (ticket 44992). It seems
that macports works fine on my iMac.
