 Hello,

the port digikam has been installed successfully on my iMac (Xcode is
installed with the version 5.1.1 (5B1008), running with OS X 10.9.5. The
command tools are installed.). When I understand correctly an port can be
started in a shell via typing the port name and then press the carriage
return button. When doing so in the terminal the error message is "-bash:
digikam: command not found". But in the directory
 /Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS the command
"./digikam" has function and digikam starts without problems. Is there
 another possibility to start "digikam"?

The application language is "American English" when digikam has been
started and unfortunately it can not be changed in the menue via "Help"
and "Switch Application Language", no other language is offered in the
pull down menue. Is there another possibility to switch the application
language of digikam? Or do I have to install the language "German" at
 first?

I was very surprised to see that digikam is able to read an photolibrary
from iPhoto. I would like to ask you whether the tree below MyAlbums for
an photolibrary which can be seen in the file attached is correct? As far
as I can see below "Masters" the original photos can be found. It is
interesting that below "Thumbnails" it seems that there are two thumbnails
for every picture. Therefore I would like to ask you whether something
special has to be respected when opening an photolibrary of iPhoto in
 digikam?

Thank you in advance for checking my inquiries.
