 At the time of the OS upgrade I did a complete reinstall of macports.
 Saved list of ports, deleted all macports directories, downloaded and
 installed Macports for Mavericks.

 Obviously I have broken something, Kmymoney builds fine on my Mountain
 Lion box, just this Mavericks laptop causing problems.
