 Does look similar to the other ticket.

 I thought something might be wrong with XCode on the failing machine, so I
 went through + installed all updates from XCode -> Preferences + same
 problem remains.

 Several Ubuntu tickets mention removing $PREFIX from environment resolved
 similar problems, so I removed $CDPATH + $PREFIX + same problem remains.
