 FWIW, I was able to hand compile zorba-3.0.0. source with:
 {{{
     tar zxf zorba-3.0.tar.gz
     cd zorba-3.0
     mkdir build
     cd build
     cmake -Wno-dev \
         -D CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS=-std=c++11 \
         -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/opt/idzorba \
         -D ZORBA_SUPPRESS_SWIG:BOOL=ON  \
         ..
     sudo make install
 }}}
